Teamhupp at RocketX

Why is RocketX investing in people & culture?
With on a average 5 new hires per month, we are growing really fast! We know people are our greatest asset, so investing in a great culture that attracts highly talented people, has been our number 1 priority from the very start.

How does Teamhupp support teams?
With Teamhupp we are flexible to set up a people cycle that fits our entrepreneurial company culture. We started with a baseline engagement survey. The first ENPS score was 94! As we grow, keeping people engaged is even more important, so we have set an ENPS score target for each quarter in 2021. We also use Teamhupp to introduce OKR goal-setting to everybody in the company. Currently we are using the team-scan to facilitate a strategic talent meeting. Parallel everybody is collecting feedback on how we perform on the core values, what strengths we should use more of and tips to be even more effective in Q1 2021. After closing the performance cycle the focus shifts to goal-setting again!

Key insights for other companies to set yourself up for success
It’s no secret that a lot of start-ups don’t make it. We have learned a lot from founding other companies and working together with the best scale-ups in Europe. Part of gaining experience is making fuck-ups; it’s part of the deal when you set stretch goals. We actually made that explicit in our core values. Our advice is to start with defining ambitious goals and core values that everybody can identify with. Aligning your business rhythm with a clear people cycle helps to keep focus on what you want to achieve.
